Nancy Ann Lirette Seago

 

Nancy Ann Lirette Seago, 57, of Moss Bluff, La., joined her parents, Francis and Josephine Lirette, in our loving memory on October 17, 2013, a dream full-filled, eternal joy everlasting.  In her lifetime she was blessed with eleven brothers and sisters, two gracious daughters:  Harmony Marie Peloquin and Misty Rae Seago, three delightful grand-children, and a kind former husband, Edwin Seago. 

Nancy was born October 19, 1955 in Houma, La.  She attended H. L. Bourgeois H.S., class of 1974.  Nancy was a life-long learner with an appreciation for landscaping, culinary arts, nutrition, interior design, dance and music.  She was devoted to making a warm home for her husband and children wherever their travels led them, the mountains holding a special place in her heart.  ‘Nan’ was a child of nature, often tan from her toils, and a kind-hearted advocate for all God’s creatures.  

Funeral arrangements provided by Johnson & Brown of Iowa.  Graveside services are to be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in  New Richie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, La., corner of Clyde Delaney Road and Paul Bellon Rd.

Iowa- LeeRay J. Prejean, 64, passed away in his residence Friday, October 11, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

LeeRay was born April 17, 1949 in Carencro to the late Milton and Bernice (Miller) Prejean. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Elray Prejean (Chantelle) of Ragley; daughter, Connie Matte (Racca) of Lake Charles; brothers, Herman Prejean (Marilyn) of Iowa, Curtis Prejean (Shirley) of  Iowa, Neal Prejean (Christine) of Iowa and John Prejean (Shannon) of Lacassine; grandchildren, Lexee Ford, Baylee Ford, Tanner Prejean, Haydyn Prejean, Chantel Matte and Shayne Matte; 11 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Agnes O’Blanc.

The Funeral service will be Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Father Bennie Wego will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.

 Visitation is Saturday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will continue Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.

Charles M. White

 

Hayes- Charles M. White, 67, passed away in a local hospital on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

Charles was born in Hayes, LA to Dillard and Mable Bourgeois White on April 14, 1946. He loved fishing and all types of mechanic work. Charles sold produce in Hayes for many years. He also enjoyed visiting the casino and he loved his grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Fletcher officiating.  Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation begins today, Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and continues from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia A. Clark White of Hayes; son, Christopher Charles White and wife, Heather of Starks; daughter, Tina Thomas and husband, Ronald of Crawfordville, FL; step- brother, Ricky Fletcher of Lake Charles; sisters, Cheryle Abshire and husband, Ronnie of Welsh, LA, Leta Beauchamp and husband, Mike of Texas, DuJuanna Samuels and husband, Les of Jacksonville, FL; step- sister, Debbie Johnson and husband; Tim of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Gay Fletcher of Carlyss; 4 grandchildren, Eric, Ricky, Breeanna and Clairissa and 2 great grandchildren. Charles is preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Melba Fletcher; brother, Donald White;  step-brother, Kenneth Fletcher;  uncle, Wilford Bourgeois;  godchild, John Abshire.
